“We’re Coming..” Who Are The Wyatt Family Going To Target?

images (3)For weeks now, the WWE audience has grown to learn about a new group that is approaching the wrestling world very rapidly. The Wyatt Family have been shown to the viewers through brief vignettes for weeks and finally their debut is upon us. At the end of this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw, a brief but informative vignette played. It informed the WWE universe that next week, the Wyatt’s will arrive. Now, immediately the common fan questions who the Family will go after. The common fan would probably predict John Cena or somebody of his caliber. Yet, I think this trio may be going after the most dominant trio in WWE history. The Shield have wrecked havoc amongst the company we all love for months. Almost undefeated, The Shield have taken out some of the biggest names in WWE. Currently, all three members of this fearsome trio hold championships. For that sole reason, I believe the Wyatt Family will go directly after The Shield.

Let’s take a moment to learn about the mysterious Wyatts. Led by a quite deviant Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper have dominated NXT for months. Their dominance is so overwhelming that they are the current NXT Tag Team Champions. Now why would this mysterious group go after such a dominant trio that is The Shield? Because, for the Wyatt Family, having championship gold is the key. To take over the wrestling world, the Family craves championships. All three members of Shield all hold gold as previously stated. It’s bizarre, but it does make sense.

Now, let’s look at Shield. They are all at a rather low point. Dean Ambrose will be in the Smackdown Money in The Bank while Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins will be facing the Usos in the pre show of Money in The Bank. With the probability of Dean winning at a near fourteen percent, the odds are very unlikely. Expecting the Shield to walk out of Money In The Bank still champions, the Wyatts would logically go directly after them. As I write this, Shield is not involved in any story lines that will last past Money in The Bank.  So although both groups are clearly heels, it seems to be the direction WWE will go in. Will it work? Of course! Both groups have sparked the interest upon the fans of professional wrestling. So sit back, relax, and no that the WWE is about to drastically change.

(To address the obvious presented questions, both the WWE and World Heavyweight Championship seem to have plans past Money in The Bank. John Cena will probably face Mark Henry, Ryback, or Daniel Bryan at SummerSlam. As for Alberto Del Rio, he’ll probably face Dolph Ziggler if the title doesn’t change again at Money in The Bank. So that’s why the Wyatt Family can’t go after neither. )
